IMMERSION: Better Homes and Gardens by Becky Borlan

Exhibition: September 30 – November 19
Opening Reception: October 14, 6 – 9 pm
Closing Reception: November 19, 4 – 6 pm

Over the course of her 8-weeks, the gallery will be transformed into a whimsical urban jungle. The space will be filled with larger-than-life plant structures juxtaposed against tiny, hand-sized origami houses. Visitors are invited to make additional houses, rearrange the work, and document the changes.

IMMERSION is an interactive, multimedia installation series that will be held in 3 locations around Historic Anacostia neighborhood and offer visitors the chance to touch, create, contribute, and share.

Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am – 7 pm
Artist Hours: Tuesdays 2 – 6 pm; Wednesdays 11 – 4 pm; Saturdays 10 – 1 pm; and by event and appointment.
