In his first solo show, DC-based Artist Ric Cunningham examines rebirth, longing, and loss by combining decades-old materials and photographs with his own imagery and mark-making. Cunningham’s pieces show vintage female forms on soft pastel landscapes, juxtaposed against gritty, asymmetrical boards. Reclamation reflects the hope and beauty in second chances and the nostalgia and sorrow that surfaces when revisiting personal history and memories. Read the full press release here.
