Sol Hill’s Signal From Noise series is an alchemy of creative processes, which he dubs “energy paintings”. Hill interweaves the immediacy of photography with the aesthetic concerns of painting. Using a digital sensor, which records energies other than light, he reveals aspects of reality that normally go unseen.
